We collect only the information necessary to provide, bill for, and maintain your Service:

  • Account info: Name, email address, billing address.
  • Usage metrics: System uptime logs, billing usage, credit consumption.
  • Support info: Correspondence sent to our support team.

2. What data we do NOT collect

We do not collect:

  • Your AI conversations.
  • Your files, documents, or knowledge graph.
  • Your contacts, calendar events, or email content.

These stay on your dedicated server. We do not have technical access to this information.

3. How we use your data

We use collected data solely for:

  • Processing billing via Stripe.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Maintaining your Service's uptime and performance.
  • Improving our infrastructure (e.g., updating our server stack).

4. Third-party services

We partner with trusted third-party services for essential functions:

  • Stripe: Processing subscription payments.
  • Clerk: Managing account authentication and secure sessions.
  • Hetzner: Hosting your dedicated servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

5. Cookies

Our portal uses minimal, essential cookies for session authentication and interface preference (e.g., dark/light mode). We do not use advertising or marketing tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

When you cancel your Service, your dedicated server is decommissioned. Your instance data, including all stored knowledge and logs, is permanently scrubbed within 30 days.

7. User rights

You retain control over your data:

  • Access: Review your account settings at any time via your portal.
  • Export: Download your knowledge graph and files from your server.
  • Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your instance and data by canceling your subscription.

8. Children's privacy

KanaHost is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Updates to this policy will be posted here. For major changes, we will notify you via the email address on your account.
